This piece is very special to me. I wanted to create a unique diorama that included calming elements. Woven on a frame loom with natural linen, I then painted indigo accents on the textile & added dried florals.

How it’s made:
Step 1: Prepare the loom and yarn
Set up the warp threads vertically across the loom and wind the weft yarn onto shuttles or bobbins.
Step 2: Weave the fabric
Pass the weft yarn over and under the warp threads to create the desired pattern and design until the entire piece of fabric is woven.
Step 3: Finish the textile
Remove the fabric from the loom and add any additional decorative touches. Depending on the type of textile, this may also involve steaming, washing, or other treatments to set the fibers and improve the overall appearance of the fabric.

Recycled Cotton
