Mini Confetti, B&W Edition
This limited edition weaving is part of a new series designed specifically for Ibu Textiles. Inspired by the beauty of natural linen, this tapestry was hand crafted with great detail on a frame loom. Simplicity is key with this wall hanging. Woven at home in my Nashville Studio, this textile was crafted with care using linen. I then placed it on a modern, clear acrylic dowel. It makes for a distinct alternative to a 2-dimensional print or painting. Ready to hang.

How it’s made:
Step 1: Prepare the loom and yarn
Set up the warp threads vertically across the loom and wind the weft yarn onto shuttles or bobbins.
Step 2: Weave the fabric
Pass the weft yarn over and under the warp threads to create the desired pattern and design until the entire piece of fabric is woven.
Step 3: Finish the textile
Remove the fabric from the loom and add any additional decorative touches. Depending on the type of textile, this may also involve steaming, washing, or other treatments to set the fibers and improve the overall appearance of the fabric.

Recycled Cotton
